2. ZOOM VIDEO CONFERENCING.
Zoom is a video conferencing app that has become an essential tool when it comes to working from home.

It is important to remember that video conferencing is now taking the place of in-class sessions. It is expected that you will behave appropriately at all times during Zoom meetings.
We will have weekly check-ins on Zoom. Attendance of these video conferences will be mandatory. If you are unable to make it to a meeting, you must communicate this with me beforehand, or you will be marked absent.

3. SUBMITTING WORK
From time to time, you will be expected to complete assessments at home. These assignments will be posted under the "My Work" page under the heading "Assessments." Due dates will be listed on the "Weekly Schedule."
These assessments will need to be submitted via email if you are able to complete them digitally. You will find my email under the "Contact" tab at the top right corner of this page.
If you are not able to submit the assignments digitally, please contact me to discuss an alternate plan.
4. DUOLINGO
Before Spring Break, we started using Duolingo for the first 10 minutes of every class to "warm-up." Now, we will be using Duolingo to supplement our learning at home. Learning a new language on your own is an incredibly difficult task. Duolingo is an excellent interactive program that allows you to identify and correct mistakes instantly. I encourage you to continue doing 10 minutes per day on Duolingo. You are not going to be graded on your time spent on this site, but if you use it for 10 minutes per day you may be surprised how much you learn.
To access Duolingo at home, just go to duolingo.com on your internet browser on any device and follow the instructions on the website.
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS ABOUT ANYTHING PERTAINING TO THIS COURSE, PLEASE CONTACT ME. ALL YOUR QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS WILL BE ADDRESSED DURING OUR WEEKLY VIDEO CHECK-IN.
